Thank you for looking at my Poetry Packet!
There are enough pages here for one poem every week for most school districts. You may remove the ones that are too hard or too easy for your students to make the right number for your school year. Another idea is to pick your favorite twenty or so and use it as a poem a day for poetry month. The pages are unnumbered so you may hand them out in any order you choose.

Real scans of fall leaves. These files are HUGE, would be great printed on individual sheets of printer paper and cut out for a bulletin board or other fall decoration.
Also included is a bonus fall leaves paper which can be used as background for whatever fall themed thing you can think of!
There are 6 different leaves in two sizes each (large, and 'small' which is almost life size), plus the 12X12" 300dpi paper.
18 pages of poetry examples. The pages in this packet are example poems to go with the Poetry Packet in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. The poems in this packet are by a variety of poets, well known and not, modern and classic. If you have other examples for your students such as books by different authors (Dr Suess to Walt Whitman) that can also be very helpful but not necessary. This packet is designed to be printed on the backs of the writing prompt sheets from the Poetry Packet.

I made this after a bunch of snow days where I noticed that the counties on the snow day list online were all in the same region. I thought “how would a student know these were in the same area?” Several days later these worksheets were done.
This set breaks down Ohio’s 88 counties into five regions. It helps students learn a bit about Ohio and US history by telling them about how each county got its name, and reinforces the spellings and general locations of each county with a fun word search

Many people complain that modern standards (including but also before common core) have made it so there is no time to teach cursive. I personally believe that learning to read cursive is important so I made these CC aligned worksheets using fables as the reading material.
They could be used as a bonus to regular cursive or ELA, as a fun thing for kids who get done early, as extra credit, or for GATE.
