Description
This daily journal assignment is a great opportunity to provide STRUCTURE, ROUTINE & MOMENTS OF REFLECTION for students!
Keep in touch with your students & let them know social distancing doesn't mean you have lost touch with them! I've noticed now more than ever my students have a lot of thoughts & feelings about what is going on and want to connect with me but also need the outlet to process their thoughts & emotions. This download includes an editable PDF version which is perfect for distance learning & a black & white ink-saver version that is perfect for printing!
*Looking for a google form version of this daily journal check in instead?Find it here!</a>*
I use this in the classroom as a morning check-in to get students focused and ready for the day. or in our "zen center" to cool down or reflect. This journal activity prompts students to practice gratitude, make to-do lists, journal their thoughts, choose an inspirational mantra & give advice to a classmate who is feeling down all from home!
The advice portion is my favorite part, when using the editable PDF I can quickly copy and paste students' advice to another student (i leave their names anonymous) when someone indicates they aren't feeling 100%. It's a great way for us to maintain community while apart!
This resource includes"
⭐1 full color & editable journal PDF document (2 pages)
⭐1 black & white ink-saver & editable journal PDF document (2 pages)
