Description
I use this template as a daily meeting for my kinders. It is open ended and allows for teachers to differentiate with students. It is common core aligned.
Practice includes:
* Today is (day) (month) and (date by the week) by coloring in the date.
* Problem of the day ( where teachers may give students an addition/subtraction scenario allowing students to draw a picture as well as write a number sentence.
* Counting Pattern ( which allows the students to count up or back from a given number.
* Number of the day ( students will show a given number in ten frame, on pennies, written digits, clockface, and drawing amount of objects.
* Color name recognition
I like to pull the file up on my interactive white board so I can complete it along with my students.
I hope you enjoy this practice as much as my class does.
Term 2 will come a little later.
