Description

No more searching for morning work or homework. Here's a month's worth of skill practice, ready to handout to your kiddos.

These are correlated to the 3rd grade common core standards, but cover skills taught in 2nd and 4th as well.

Each month's Daily Math and Language had a seasonal focus.

Language skills covered in this month's Daily Math and Language:
*types of sentences (and ending punctuation):
declarative,
interrogative,
imperative,
exclamatory
*research media choices:
dictionary,
encyclopedia,
thesaurus,
atlas,
telephone book,
yellow pages,
text book,
newspaper,
website
*contractions
*root words
*prefixes
*suffixes

Math skills covered in this month's Daily Math and Language:
*area and perimeter (including missing length problems)
*Pictographs with scale of 5
*Line Plot graphs
*Bar graphs with scale of 2

An answer key is included for each page. I love to put the answer key under my document camera and have the students check their own work as I go over it with them. That gives them immediate feedback and doesn't take a great deal of time either.
