Description

No more searching for morning work or homework. Here's a month's worth of skill practice, ready to handout to your kiddos.

These are correlated to the 3rd grade common core standards, but cover skills taught in 2nd and 4th as well.

Each month's Daily Math and Language had a seasonal focus.

Language skills covered in this month's Daily Math and Language:
*commas in a series
*abbreviations
- days of the week
- months of the year
- titles (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., Rev.)
- name of streets, roads, avenues, boulevards
*contractions
- not
- is
- are
- will
- have
- had
- has
- should
- would
- could

Math skills covered in this month's Daily Math and Language:
*word problems (with and without picture support)
- addition
- subtraction
*number patterns
- with place value blocks
- with numerals

An answer key is included for each page. I love to put the answer key under my document camera and have the students check their own work as I go over it with them. That gives them immediate feedback and doesn't take a great deal of time either.

Wonderful activity and I love how the pages follow an order that the kids learn to expect. Graphics are adorable. I did find a few mistakes but I just used white tape and corrected them. Keeps the students on their toes!
