Fun, engaging "Find 10" daily writing editing practice in which the students must find exactly ten grammar, capitalization, punctuation and spelling errors in each short passage or paragraph! Your students will love editing with these fun activities. I have included 75 quick editing practice warm-ups and four examples in which students are asked to “Find 10” editing mistakes in each short passage or paragraph. Great for distance learning as well!
The students love this type of activity and treat each paragraph as a scavenger hunt for writing errors. There is a “means to the end” as once they have found 10 grammar, spelling or punctuation mistakes, they are finished editing the selection.
This activity is perfect for writing journals, writer’s workshop, whole group writing warm-ups and more.
I’ve included an answer key showing exactly where the editing errors are in each activity as well as a “Find 10” editing example poster.
