The “Dear Santa” Letter – Persuasive Writing Essay by Natalie Kay is a wonderful and engaging way to teach persuasive writing during the holiday season. The structure makes expectations clear for students while still allowing room for creativity and voice. My students enjoyed writing with a real purpose, and it helped them practice stating opinions, giving reasons, and using convincing language. I appreciated how student-friendly and easy to implement this resource was—it fit seamlessly into our writing block. This is a fun, meaningful activity that reinforces persuasive writing skills in an age-appropriate way. ?✍️
