December Math Activities - Christmas Math Games - 4th Grade and 5th Grade Around the Room Task Cards
Need it for 2nd Grade?
Need it for 3rd Grade?
I am beyond thrilled to be sharing this activity with you! I know it'll bring lots of fun + engagement into your classroom! Just print the task cards in color or black and white then post them around your classroom for your students to solve. Each answer leads them to filling in the mystery silly sentence. As students answer each question, they will match the answer to the word - once they've answered all 12 problems, a silly December themed sentence will be revealed!
- Google Slides option is also available❤️ - so that you can pull it up on your screen and complete whole group, if you'd like, or you can use it virtually
- Task Cards available in Black + White
This 4th grade December math activity includes:
- 3 sets of math task cards that you can print and post around your classroom to get your students up and moving around during math time.
- Each set includes 12 task cards
- And since they're full page task cards, you won't have to cut a thing! Just print, (laminate if you'd like), and post around your classroom.
- A worksheet is included for students to use as they walk around to each of the task cards.
- As students answer each question, they will match the answer to the word - once they've answered all 12 problems, a silly December themed sentence will be revealed!
Skills included are:
- Long Division OR Basic Division option if your students aren't ready for long division
- Three by One Digit Multiplication and Two by Two Digit Multiplication
- Multi-Digit Addition and Subtraction
As teachers, we know the task cards are a simple way to add instant engagement during your math rotations. I love posting them around the classroom to get students up and moving! But, task cards with a twist of Christmas and December silliness like these bring even MORE engagement.
This December + Christmas math activity will..
⭐️spice up your math block
⭐️add some silliness fun to your math block (we could all use some fun!)
⭐️add some giggles to your classroom
⭐️get your students up and moving around the room while staying on task (my favorite type of math station+ students always enjoy walking around the room to solve math problems)
