Scoot, scoot, scoot! Don't your kids just love to scoot!! These Decimal Scoot Activities/Task Cards gives 4th and 5th graders a fantastic opportunity to move around while learning. This will really help your students who NEED to move. In the Decimal Place Value Scoot Activity, students will find the value of underlined digits, write in standard or word form, compare and order numbers, and find the digits in a certain place value. In the Decimals Number Line Scoot Activity, students will identify a point on a number line (tenths or hundredths). In the Comparing and Ordering Decimals Scoot Activity, students will find the answer to a comparing or ordering decimals problem. Some of the decimals go to the tenths place and some go to the hundredths place. In some problems, students are comparing two decimals with a greater than, less than, or equal to symbol. And in other problems, students are ordering four decimal numbers. In the Adding and Subtracting Decimals Activity, students will find the answer to an adding or subtracting decimals problem. These adding and subtracting cards go to the tenths and hundredths place. Students will have to make sure to line up their decimals as well for all these adding and subtracting decimals cards. There are 15 adding decimals problems and 15 subtracting decimals problems. Last of all, in the Converting Decimals Activity, students will find the answer to a problem that involves converting decimals to fractions or converting fractions to decimals. These converting decimals cards go to the tenths and hundredths place as well.
These are fantastic for practice or a review. Directions, student recording sheet, 30 cards, and answer sheet are all included.
