Description

This math station contains 21 total problems in a math station game for students to practice adding and subtracting angles. Included are two PDFs, with one of them being for students to use for online learning. It includes form fields for them to input in their answers. The other is ideal for math station work. Students will need to add and subtract to find the measurement of the drawn angles and then match them up with the correct answer.

Students could use this activity during guided math or you could use it as an activity for quick finishers. Also included are direction sheet, answer sheet and a worksheet for the game.

• The activity can be printed double sided with the problem on one side and the skill name on the other for ease of organizing and sorting. If you print double sided you MUST use the Long Edge Binding option or things will not line up correctly.

• I suggest printing on colored paper and laminating the puzzle pieces for durability.

• You could use this activity as a formative assessment or print it on half sheets to use as part of an interactive notebook.

I always get a cheer when these come out, definite class favorites!

Both PDFs contain the same problems, just one is set up for students online learning and the other is for classroom math centers.

Recognize angles as geometric shapes that are formed wherever two rays share a common endpoint, and understand concepts of angle measurement:
Recognize angle measure as additive. When an angle is decomposed into non-overlapping parts, the angle measure of the whole is the sum of the angle measures of the parts. Solve addition and subtraction problems to find unknown angles on a diagram in real world and mathematical problems, e.g., by using an equation with a symbol for the unknown angle measure.
Use facts about supplementary, complementary, vertical, and adjacent angles in a multi-step problem to write and solve simple equations for an unknown angle in a figure.
