These are eight challenging problems involving definite integrals.

Students will need to use the basic integral ʃ(x^n)dx and the properties of definite integrals( integral of sum of functions and moving the constant factor across the integral sign), apply the fundamental theorem of calculus and then solve the resulting polynomial equation.

Students can work independently or in groups of 2.
