Description

Celebrate Pi Day (3/14) by allowing your students to participate in an engaging, hands on activity where they can explore the origin of Pi! The activity includes a materials list (many of which you will already have!) and instructions for an activity, but feel free to adjust for your setting. It also includes critical thinking questions for students to answer independently or in small groups.

This resource was wonderful to use with my sixth graders for pi day! We brought in multiple circular objects and used this to derive pi!
