Experience

I have had the pleasure of working in the field of education for 10 years, with experience teaching remedial to honors Math courses for middle school students. I am experienced in Common Core practices and have also participated in curriculum development and coaching.

Teaching style

My teaching style is fun and reflective of a mutual respect that I work to establish with my students every year. One of my biggest strengths is positive classroom culture, which is essential for developing an environment in which students feel safe and enthusiastic about learning. This skill has allowed me to reach some of our most challenging students, behaviorally and academically. I firmly believe that love, compassion, and high expectations should be at the center of every classroom.
