Description
With this set of differentiated task cards, students can practice identifying transformations of a function from its equation. Students will also practice writing an equation from a description of transformations.
Each task card is awarded a certain number of "stars." The teacher will predetermine how many "stars" they would like their students to collect. Students can then choose which task cards to complete to reach the set number of stars.
Easily differentiate the activity and meet your students where they are by assigning different groups of students a different number of "stars" they need to collect to complete the activity.

Two versions of the task cards are included. Version 1 included vertical stretches and compressions where Version 2 includes vertical AND horizontal stretches and compressions. (Please note the versions are very similar - many of the problems are the same in both versions.)
