These 6 decimal sorts are perfect for 5.NBT.1-4. The sorts work for whole class, small groups and partners. Through digitally sorting the cards, students will gain a deeper understanding of decimals: naming; place value; multiplying/dividing by 10, 100, and 1000; comparing; and rounding to tenths and hundredths. Can be used in Google and PowerPoint!
Each of the six sorts (with three different versions) reviews the following:
* naming decimals (standard, word, fraction, and expanded) 5.NBT.1
* multiplying decimals by 10, 100, 1000 to understand place value 5.NBT.2
* dividing decimals by 10, 100, 1000 to understand place value 5.NBT.2
* comparing decimals (greater than, less than, or equal) 5.NBT.3
* rounding decimals to tenths 5.NBT.4
* rounding decimals to hundredths 5.NBT.4

How can I use this product?
You can share the screen and talk through the sorts, during synchronous learning. Because there are three different versions each sort, you can share the sorts with small groups (using breakout rooms), you can also assign the sorts to an individual for asynchronous learning.
