Description

Go Digital with this engaging math enrichment activity! Students love playing Noggle. Not every classroom has room to display a Noggle board on the bulletin board so I created these digital cards. These digital cards can be used multiple ways. Display the cards using your classroom projector and give the students a certain amount of time to solve the card. This activity is perfect for morning work, a transition period, or to fill that 15-minute time slot that was created by an assembly or book fair! Several student recording sheets are included that students can use as they solve the task card.

You can also assign the digital task cards and have students use them on a classroom device such as a laptop or a tablet. Students can use order of operations to record their expressions. Ready to go paperless? Share the Google drive version with your students and have students record their expressions directly on the digital cards. Works well in Google classrooms. These cards are great for early finishers and those needing an additional challenge.

Still want to be able to print the task cards? That's included too. Simply print the pdf version using the multiple pages setting and print 4 cards per page.

Includes:
30 Different Noggle Task Cards with Target Numbers
Student Recording Sheets
Google Drive Interactive Task Cards

Use parentheses, brackets, or braces in numerical expressions, and evaluate expressions with these symbols.
Write simple expressions that record calculations with numbers, and interpret numerical expressions without evaluating them. For example, express the calculation “add 8 and 7, then multiply by 2” as 2 × (8 + 7). Recognize that 3 × (18932 + 921) is three times as large as 18932 + 921, without having to calculate the indicated sum or product.
