Digital Paired Passages May | Distance Learning | Google Classroom & Printable

Are you looking for digital and printable distance learning activities to help engage your students? These distance learning paired passages are perfect for working on reading comprehension or reading fluency through the use of Google Forms or PDF. There are 8 different paired passages for the month of May.

Each article has their own set of 5-6 questions.

The themes covered are Oceanographers, Spiders and bees, ice cream and plants. There are 4 nonfiction passages and 4 fiction passages.

Students read the assigned passage, then answer self-correcting multiple choice, true/false questions, as well as multi-answer questions. There is also a short answer question for each passage that are not self-correct because answer may vary. Simply send Google Form interactive passages to your students via Google Classroom and get immediate feedback once submitted. These digital Google Forms are great way to practice reading comprehension, nonfiction and fiction comparing, text to text comparisons, and text evidence as well as great for introducing your students to new literature.

OR you can print or attach the black and white PDF passages and comprehension questions for students or your own children. An answer key is also included for the printable version.
