"The stories included in this resource are very engaging and educational. It also simulates close handed what they will be exposed to when taking the final state test. Great resource for practice!"

Description
This performance task mimics the SBAC in that it asks students to read two sources, answer two short response questions, one multiple choice, and then write an informational article for a magazine. Great practice for building ELA stamina in our students in preparation for the SBAC ELA Performance Task.

This was a great resource! Thanks for sharing and creating it.
Great product! Definitely recommend using for your classroom!!!
I planned to use this resource with my 7th grade students for a performance task practice. However, when we reached question two, we noticed the information provided in the articles did not support the question. There was no information about Americans landing on the moon in source two. I have to rewrite the question. I am disappointed that this information isn't discoverable until after you buy the product. Maybe I'm missing something?

My students enjoyed learning about the Spacewalk and the format was awesome for preparing them for when we take our state assessment!
Thank you!
I would love to have examples/exemplars to reference.
