Description
Easily practice long division with double digit divisors! These digital google sheets activities are zero prep and self checking. It is the perfect way for students to practice the standard algorithm and receive immediate feedback.
This is a SAMPLE that I am offering for FREE! It comes with three self-checking problems. If you like the problems, you can get a set of 60 by clicking here!
How does it work?
Students will enter numbers into the template, and as they do, the box will change color to provide instant feedback. Every single box is self-checking, because if the kids enter the correct answer, the box changes color, and if the question is incorrect, the box turns gray. Also, unlike other digital assignments, students cannot google the answers because they have to show each step of the algorithm. As an added scaffold, the boxes are color coded to show the different steps of division: Divide (purple), Multiply (red), Subtract (green), Bring Down (blue).
What's included: 1 google sheet, with three long division problems. + answer key. The full set is located HERE.
This activity is a google sheet and works with ANY device that is connected to the internet. It is easy to assign to your students, and even comes with a video tutorial for teachers that will show you how to assign and use it! You can also change the questions if you want to use it for different content.
These activities are engaging, low prep, paperless, and FUN! They are easy to assign in google classroom. I tested it out on my fourth graders and they LOVED it!
How is it self checking? Well, students answer one question at a time, and as they do, the box changes color. IF the box turns grey, then students know to self-correct their answer.
Like the templates? These match exactly in style and color with my Division Standard Algorithm Practice pack!

Reviews
Hi Mary, this is a free product and the title page and description clearly state that it has 3 free questions. If you'd like a set with 60 questions I have a paid product that you can take a look at. I'm pretty proud of my self-checking products and I am happy to be providing this for free to educators. I think it has helped a lot of teachers and students.
