Description
Directed Drawing with Math-Spring Edition is all about Math word problems with a twist. My students love to do directed drawing activities and I love to give them math word problems to solve. So, it is the best of both worlds! My students get to draw and solve word problems and I get to see fun learning happening.
Directed Drawing with Math Activities is a fun way to review mathematic skills, to add to numeracy centres, to end the week, to use for homework, or to leave in sub plans.
There are 17 different Directed Drawing with Math activities.
These numeracy centres are easy to prep.
Tools needed by your students to complete these activities: pencil, crayons, scissors, glue, and paper clip.
I have differentiated most of the activities so that this resource can be used in Kindergarten and Grade 1. Please note: Some instructions may need to be read to students.
The following pictures are drawn with these mathematics concepts:
- Bee-Addition to 10; Making 10
- Birdhouse-Addition to 20
- Nest with Eggs-Addition to 20 (3 addends)
- Birds-Subtraction to 10
