Description
Looking for a collaborative activity that gets kids working together using the distance formula, talking about math and helping each other learn? Partner Practice is that activity. This resource has 3 different pairs of collaborative worksheets for students. Pairs of students complete worksheets of different problems that have the same answer. So students each do problem 1 and compare answers to see if they match.
Resource also includes 8 exit tickets (called quick checks) for each set of worksheets (a total of 24). Use at the end of lesson, for exit tickets, warm-ups the following day or quick review before a quiz to check student progress.
Versions A/B find distance with 2 ordered pairs with integers.
Versions C/D find distance with 2 ordered pairs with radicals and integers.
Versions E/F have segments indicated on graphs.
Use on one day for different levels of learners in the classroom or different days. You can also use as homework checks using one of the versions and follow up with the matching version the next day to have students check their homework answers.
Check the video to see the problems included to make sure they are suitable for your students.
Included:
