Description

Using favorite read aloud books is a great way to create fun and hands-on activities to challenge your students' thinking and develop problem-solving skills.
After reading or listening to Maisy Goes Camping, your students will be ready to use critical thinking skills to build and create while working on the challenge. The pre-challenge thinking stems will help spark your students’ interest and curiosity while activating schema.

This Distance Learning STEM challenge has been designed for students to use common materials found around their home, including the recycling bin. This packet contains a zip file with 3 pdf files. One file is the full packet, the other two files are smaller variations that can be embedded into a power point or other electronic visual presentation and pages that can be printed and completed by the student for those districts requiring documentation of learning. All files are pdf documents.

This was easy for me to show and read while we had our final week of distance learning. The children were so engaged and really got competitive with making their "at home" tents!
