When students are absent or need to have a copy of teacher's notes for their IEP I used to stumble about and then quickly scribble something and hand it to them. But then I thought, why not organize my notes before hand in an easy to comprehend way.
Using the Cornell-style double entry system I have created notes for many concepts. This product has 23 pages of notes to help you and your students with Ratios, Unit-Rates, Proportions, Percent Change, Tax, Tip, Mark-up, and Discounts. The 23 pages are as follows:
Page 1: Vocabulary all the vocabulary about Ratios that your students need to succeed.
Page 2: How ratios are different from fractions
Page 3: Step-by step instructions to solve problems using equivalent ratios
Page 4: Step-by step instructions to solve problems using proportions
Page 5: Vocabulary all the vocabulary about Unit-Rates that your students need to succeed.
Pages 6-7: Step-by step instructions to solve Unit-Rate problems using proportions or equivalent ratios
Pages 8-10: Step-by step instructions to solve Rate problems using equivalent ratios, proportions and the WON chart
