Description

How did the Indiana counties receive their names? What is the history behind the county in which you reside? This activity will help the student become familiar with the 92 counties that make up the state of Indiana. The student will explore the history behind various counties and begin a quest that encourages them to be a well educated resident of his/her state. This activity can be applied to any state as the information to be collected can easily be adapted.
