Easily practice the standard algorithm multi digit multiplication with some fun, engaging pixel art! These digital mystery reveal pictures allow students to practice the standard algorithm with 12 unique activities. Students will enter numbers into the template, and as they do, magical pictures will appear. Every single box is self-checking, because if the kids enter the correct answer, the box changes color, and parts of the mystery reveal pops up. Also, unlike other pixel arts, students cannot google the answers because they have to show each step of the algorithm. As an added scaffold, the boxes are color coded to show the different steps of multi digit multiplication.

This google sheets activity works with ANY device that is connected to the internet. It is easy to assign to your students, and even comes with a video tutorial for teachers that will show you how to assign and use it! You can also change the questions if you want to use it for different content.

These activities are engaging, low prep, paperless, and FUN! They are easy to assign in google classroom. I tested it out on my fourth graders and they LOVED it!

How is it self checking? Well, students answer one question at a time, and as they do, the box changes color AND a mystery pixel art image is revealed, piece by piece. When the pixels appear, that's how students know they got it correct! If nothing happens, then students know to self-correct their answer.
