Description

Learning doubles facts in math is a powerful mental math strategy to increase fact fluency. Most of our students need repeated practice and hands-on experiences to master addition facts. This resource contains 10 activities for adding doubles that your students will love using while increasing their addition fluency!

These doubles facts activities are easy to use with detailed teacher instructions and little to no prep! Combine the pages with everyday math manipulatives and you are ready to practice adding doubles! The activities use items such as dice, cubes, links, dominoes, and ten frames. The activities are great for practicing adding doubles during independent work time, small groups, and centers.

You receive the following activities to practice doubles facts:

  • A clickable table of contents to help you easily navigate the activities
  • Teacher instruction pages for each doubles facts activity with photographs
  • 3 worksheets to use with dice
  • 3 domino worksheets plus printable dominoes
  • 2 worksheets to use with cubes
  • A math counting links activity
  • 2 ten frame activities plus flashcards and cute ten frames
  • A set of puzzle cards for doubles facts to 12+12 and a matching recording sheet
