Description
This quick project allows students to work with others and learn more about a particular astronomer. Students must use computers or other resources to find the information, and I have the students create a poster to present the material to the rest of the class the next day. It is a great way to teach geocentric and heliocentric models of the solar system and have students learn more about Galileo and Newton.

This was a great resource for introducing astronomers!
This was a great resource for students to do a project on an astronomer.
This is a good resource.
Great timesaver, thanks.
Thank you!
Thank you
I used this for a mini project to introduce early astronomers to my 6th grade classes. It was quick and easy. Thanks
Because this document was created in a different version of word than I have, I had to go in and fix everything. If it had been a pdf, this wouldn't have happened! Love the idea and my students will enjoy it - just wish I could have printed and been done!
