About the store
Hi, I'm Leigh! I’m a middle school science teacher with 15 years of classroom experience in Columbia, South Carolina. I am Montessori-trained and deeply believe that science should be hands-on, creative, and a little messy (the best learning usually is!). My resources are inspired by real students and real classrooms. I love designing tactile, interactive activities such as labs, card sorts, models, investigations, and projects, that help students truly understand science instead of just memorizing it. If students are cutting, sorting, building, testing, or debating, I’m happy. Rooted in Montessori principles, my lessons encourage curiosity, independence, and collaboration while still being practical, engaging, and classroom-tested. My goal is to make science accessible, meaningful, and fun for all learners, especially those who learn best by doing. Thanks for stopping by, and happy teaching! 🧪✨
