This Earth Day informational writing unit was the perfect way to prepare my first graders for our district informational writing task. The lessons were clear, engaging, and helped build my students’ confidence as writers. They loved learning about how to help the Earth while practicing important writing skills. It was a meaningful and effective way to combine content and writing instruction.
