Description

Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, 1st Grade, Homeschool: Math, basic operations, addition, subtraction, Easter, Spring, coloring pages, counting, non-religious, answer sheets/answer keys, Easter basket, bunny head, flowerpot, chick, egg, peeps, line drawings. Visually accessible: ADA 508 compliant and WCAG 2.1 compliant for AA and AAA.

Easter Math is ADA 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliant for AA and AAA. Most pages are greyscale (the cover is obviously in color, the contents page contains red, and all of the answer sheets show the answers in red).

All of the graphics are nature-related Spring/Easter images, not Christian (no cross, no open stone tomb): Easter basket, bunny head, flowerpot, chick, egg, peep. They are presented as line drawings.

Designed with the little ones in mind (Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, perhaps First Grade), I made these sheets mostly easy, with the addition and subtraction problems presented in order from low to high or high to low. Where an order may seem missing is among the "pairings" pages for addition where the numbers are switched in order but the outcome is the same for each pair: as the numbers grow larger, the order seems a little out of order, so that the pairings were not duplicated from one sheet to another.

There are no "pairings" exercise sheets for subtraction as the outcome of the paired problem would result in negative numbers.

There is a small section on Counting Objects where all the exercise sheets show the amounts not in order except for one of the sheets involving counting number of objects from 1 to 20.

I added a separate section for Using Zero which involves zero (0) in the problems (for example: 1+0= and 4-0=), although within the earlier pages, most of the subtraction exercise sheets involve at least one answer being zero (0) (for example: 5-5=).

Answer Sheets are enclosed for all of the above exercise sheets.

A Bonus section contains the Spring/Easter related graphics (Easter basket, bunny head, flowerpot, chick, egg, peep) reproduced larger in size for the purpose of coloring in because, looking back at my own childhood, I remember being disappointed when there were graphics that were not in color and the teacher would not allow my class to grab the crayons and add color to them. So in order to add to the students' happiness, I added the coloring pages. There are grey numerals for the students to trace over, for 1 through 10, and corresponding numbers of those images, although not every graphic is represented for every number from 1 to 10. There are at least 3 different graphics for each number. In addition, I added a sheet of 20 peeps and 18 eggs just for the sake of coloring (and you can direct the students to color a certain number of them one specific color or another, or encourage them to produce a sheet of multicolored peeps and eggs).
