Description

Spring math practice is fun with this set of four zip zooming bunny addition and subtraction games for math centers!

Color or cover? It’s teacher’s choice with this set of one page board games for computation, since each game comes in two formats:

* Print in color on cardstock and laminate (players cover spaces with small markers or beans, or circle the numbers with a wipe-off marker). Save on copying by using again and again!

* Print and copy in black and white and use as consumables. Save on color ink and laminating film!

Here are the spring math games and the standards they support!

* Rockin’ Rollin’ Bunny: adding two numbers, sums of 2-12

(CCSS1.OA.6)

* Zip Zoom Doubles: adding doubles (CCSS1.OA.6)

* Bumpity Bunny: subtracting with minuends of 1-6 (CCSS1.OA.6)

Standards

to see state-specific standards (only available in the US).
Subtract multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 from multiples of 10 in the range 10-90 (positive or zero differences), using concrete models or drawings and strategies based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction; relate the strategy to a written method and explain the reasoning used.
Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Use strategies such as counting on; making ten (e.g., 8 + 6 = 8 + 2 + 4 = 10 + 4 = 14); decomposing a number leading to a ten (e.g., 13 - 4 = 13 - 3 - 1 = 10 - 1 = 9); using the relationship between addition and subtraction (e.g., knowing that 8 + 4 = 12, one knows 12 - 8 = 4); and creating equivalent but easier or known sums (e.g., adding 6 + 7 by creating the known equivalent 6 + 6 + 1 = 12 + 1 = 13).
