Description

Fun Easter holiday math activity with easter eggs, bunnies, birds, and jelly beans.

Differentiated math worksheets with both addition and subtraction story problems for Kindergarten or Pre-K. Students will listen to the easter story problem, use the number line to show work, draw a picture to match the story, and record the complete equation. Each topic has 5 levels of difficulty for differentiation within your class or for continued practice once you model the worksheet. Great for an easter math center in the spring.

* See preview for full resource view of all word problems.

Scaffold Ideas: You can use colored highlighters or crayons to underline numbers and represent two parts of a total on the number line or in the drawing. You can also trace the parts in the equation with colors to further support students understanding of the two parts that make a total. These math worksheets are great for laminating and using in math centers with thin tipped expo markers.

Differentiate for your class: Includes blank story problem worksheets where you can write in your own numbers in or write your own story problem to match your student levels.

Bonus: Also includes manipulative cutouts of the easter eggs, bunnies, birds and jelly beans for a hands on activity so kids can act out the story problem.

Happy Easter!

My kindergarten students love these! They are fantastic because they can draw and count to solve and put the word problem in to an equation.

My students enjoyed the resources! The only thing I noticed is when I printed the resources out, a little bit gets cut off.

Hi Sabrina! Thank you for this wonderful feedback. I have just updated the resource so that every page has a wider white margin on the edges. I made it for 8.5" x 11" paper. I hope this fixes the printing issue and you can re-download the new version. I appreciate your purchase!
