Description
*EDITABLE* with easy to read editing instructions, buy it once, use it all year with ease!!!
"Concentration" (aka: Memory Game) template ready for you to use to quiz your class on vocabulary words, definitions, story summaries, phrases, etc.
Set up anywhere from 6 to 18 unique words or phrases and play for as long (or as short) of a time as you'd like! PPT is already set up to allow you to select tiles and leave uncovered if they are a perfect match or to cover back up if they are not a match.
Cover and uncover any tiles, any time, as much as you'd like without advancing to the next slide until you're ready (simply move mouse on the screen until it becomes an "arrow" and click instead of clicking with the "hand" to advance slides).
Easy to follow directions for editing and adding new words, phrases, etc. are included in the PPT!!
***PAY EXTREMELY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THE EXACT SPOT YOU CLICK ALONG THE WAY!!!!!***
1) Go to the slide you want the pictures inserted on (ex: Slide "3 out of the 8 slides in the powerpoint)
2) Go to "insert", "photo", "from file"
3) Resize your picture and lay it ON TOP of the grid square it goes to (ex: D2)
4) Right click on the picture, "arrange", "send to back"
5) Now right click the yellow square (ex: D2), "arrange", "send to back"
6) Now you should see the words that were behind the yellow square that were hidden, "Vocab Word", DELETE ALL THE LETTERS EXCEPT FOR 1 LETTER, highlight that letter and resize it to font size "120" (you have to do this because the animations are tied to that "font box" and there's no other way around it!!!) - the giant letter will now be sticking out below your targeted yellow box, that's fine, when that happens, click to the right of the giant letter and delete the letter (you should still have a giant empty frame now, click on the bottom middle rectangle of the giant empty frame, "arrange", "send to back"
7) Now click on the picture you inserted, "arrange", "send to back"
8) It should work now when you run your slideshow (it will allow you to click boxes for a "match" if they don't fit you can click them again to cover with a yellow box, if it's a match you can ignore it and it will stay displayed! If it doesn't work the way you want, go back and repeat this process, PAYING EXTREMELY CAREFUL ATTENTION TO THE EXACT SPOT YOU CLICK ALONG THE WAY!!!!!
If it doesn't work, it's because you're likely clicking on other areas, clicking to try to "reset your mouse", adding extra clicks, any of that will literally mess up the process........ it has to do with the animations, sequences, and maps within powerpoint, thanks!
