Description

Get those task cards organized!

A great way to organize your task cards, as well as a great way to use them in the classroom is to use 4x6 photo albums. You can find them at the Dollar Stores for a dollar. I actually got the one in the preview shot for a dollar on clearance at Target. They are perfect to use because there is no laminating needed for the cards. Just slip them into the album and leave them there year after year. They work great for centers when used this way, and they are easy to store in plastic bins.

Plus, now that you will have a color coordinated cover on each of your sets, you will be super organized!!

With the task card covers I made, there are five subjects included: math, reading, language arts, social studies, and science. 4 cards are printed to a page.

On each card there is a place where you can type in the specific skill for that task card. Just open the file in powerpoint and create a text box on the line to type in the skill.

Please note that in order to get 4 cards on a sheet for easier printing, they are slightly smaller than 4x6. You can see this if you open up the preview above. If you want your card to take up the entire clear pocket, just trace the size on construction paper and glue the task card cover card to it... easy!

Although I used a photo album, you don't have to use one. You can laminate your cards and just place one on the front of the deck of task cards.

Feel free to use them in your classroom however you see fit.

Don't forget to check out my inexpensive math task cards. They are great for math workshop.
