Description

With these templates, you can get your students working independently AND collaboratively to build their best answers to ANY question you ask. This resource is an editable resource (powerpoint file) for my Stick-It-Together Collaborative Responses. My original Reader Responses and Math Problem-Solving Response resources already come with an editable template – so please don’t purchase this resource if you already own the other resources.

*** This resource is intended for personal use within your classroom only. It is NOT to be used to create resources for sale.***

Included in this resource:

•two editable reader response templates (one for primary grades and one for upper grades – or you can use both to differentiate for the needs in your classroom)

•one for math problem-solving

•one “other”, which you can use for science or social studies questions, or any topic you choose

•editable rubric for reader responses

•editable rubric for math problem-solving

Each template is in PowerPoint and is completely able to be edited in any way you choose. I have used Century Gothic font, which should be common to all computers so that the formatting will be protected. You can change the font to any font you wish. Each page already contains a space for the learning goal, a space for the question, a list of subject specific success criteria for the collaborative answer (which can also be edited to match the needs/wants of your class), space for students to place their individual answers on sticky notes, and a space for them to collaboratively build their best answer using the individual responses. To add to what’s there, simply click your cursor on any of the words to bring up the text box, or add your own text boxes over top.

*** This resource is also included in my HUGE 4th - 6th Grade Essentials Bundle containing 20 of my best classroom resources.

Met expectations
Great value
My students loved using this resource because they were able to write their own response and then work together as a group to create the BEST answer. It kept all my kids actively engaged and sparked great conversations.
