Here's an Elementary Music Program for you! The Day the Crayons Quit is a wonderful little book by Drew Daywalt that inspired this musical. This elementary music program resource and guide is a wonderful way to organize your elementary music program and have a LOT of the work done for you! Being a music teacher doesn't have to be difficult in elementary music...especially when you have this Elementary Music Program template in your back pocket.

You will need access to Canva and will need to purchase the songs that I listed in the program that I used from Music K-8: The Blues, Green, Black and White, Red Boomwhacker, Mister Sun, Hi Hey, Together Again. You will use the book as the script or script inspired. BUT.....in this Elementary Music Program Resource I will provide you with...

  • Parent Letters
  • Homeroom Student Color List Template
  • Script Intro and Outro
  • Lyric Book Cover/Template
  • Song List and Guide/How To
  • Choreography for Movement Songs
  • Inspo for Stage setup and props
  • My Favorite Color Video Template for a PreProgram video for Parents
  • Digital AND Printable Program template

So, save yourself some time, as a music teacher, to create this super cute musical and have a LOT of the prepping completed with beautiful program branding and helpful resources. And what's great about this, is that this is a wonderful outline and you can tailor it to your needs and school with ease! Enjoy!
