Independent Introduction assignment, or it can be used as an assessment. This worksheet goes along with the Elements and Compounds PowerPoint (purchased separately or as a bundle) and designed for students to reinforce their learning with minimal teacher assistance. It also provides students multiple opportunities to practice Identifying Chemical Symbols vs Chemical Formulas, as well as the formation of a new substance based on elements used compared to a written Chemical Formula. It provides teachers time to move about the students while working individually to clear up any misconceptions students may have.
