Description
Keep your students engaged in math this Christmas holiday season with this Elf Christmas math craft. Eddie, the head elf, is throwing a party to celebrate another wonderful year of toy-making at the North Pole, but he needs help! Students are asked to solve 6 multi-step word problems to help Eddie plan the perfect party! This math craftivity includes 3 different versions to help you differentiate for your students. Word problems are mainly multiplication based, but students are also asked to use addition, subtraction, and division (of course they can still problem solve using only repeated addition or repeated subtraction if they are not quite there yet). The 2nd grade version includes more addition and subtraction problems, while the 3rd-5th grade version includes much more multiplication. When they are done, students will complete the related Eddie the Elf craft. The final math craftivity makes a perfect display for your bulletin board or hallway.
