Description

This is a great activity when wanting to create an interactive center for social studies and literacy. Read a book about Ellis Island or an immigrants recount of their experience coming to America. Then have students scan this QR code and answer the questions that follow. The video is quite long, but I have taken the time to watch the first 5 minute and create original questions that are increasingly difficult. The Scholastic video is linked to the QR code, so it is simply a quick way to access information. Enjoy!

I used the QR code and it did not open to a video of Ellis Island. The link opened to scholastic resources to purchase. Please advise me on where to find the virtual field trip video. Thank you, S. Lyn
