This activity allows students to practice both ENCODING AND DECODING using matrices that they create themselves. The best part: It's ready to go!! All you have to do is print.
There are two versions of this activity! One to use if you want the students to partner up and one version if you want to randomize the distribution of the messages they have to decode.
Students come up with their own message, encode it, and then their peer has to decode their message.
Use this activity after completing Matrix Coding and Decoding Notes and Worksheets.
