Description
Looking for a clear, engaging way to teach enzymes without overwhelming your students? This complete lesson bundle includes everything you need (a PowerPoint, guided notes, review, 2 aligned activities) to break down enzyme structure and function in a student-friendly way—perfect for high school biology or advanced middle school life science (not college-level). Your students will explore key concepts like the lock-and-key model, denaturation, and reaction rate graphs.
Students stay actively involved with well-designed, student-friendly guided notes that promote interaction, organization, and retention. To wrap up the lesson, students can reflect on their learning with the “Review & Reflect” handout, which includes a quick review, inquiry-driven questions, and an emoji-based self-assessment.
