These "Feed Me" task cards are student-friendly. Every school year, I read aloud the picture book "The Hungry Thing" by Jan Slepian and Ann Siedler. It's a student favorite and the perfect introduction to these fun sorting sets.

We work on CVCe (words with long vowels and "Magic E" final e) decoding in small groups, then move these cards to independent task centers.

Designed for the busy educator, these cards are black and white and sized to be easily display on word walls or pocket charts and store in 4 x 6" photo storage boxes.

A data recording page is included to track student progress.
