Description

These engaging fall themed place value task cards are the perfect resource for your students to practice expanded form with 3 digit numbers! Including 16 task cards, students will see an expanded form equation and be expected to determine the correct number shown. Students can share their answer aloud, write it on their recording sheet or use the digital version on Google Slides to type their correct answer.

These 2nd grade expanded form task cards are available digitally through Google Slides™ and are also printable as well. They are fall themed and no prep. Just print the cards or assign digitally to use as a math center, during rotations or in small groups. Students can practice their place value skills independently, with a partner or in a small group with a teacher.


CCSS Alignment:

  • 2.NBT.A.3 Read and write numbers to 1000 using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form.
