Description

This year my students seem to be having the most trouble understanding text structures. They can't explain them, identify them, or give examples of them. It was an issue I needed to rectify immediately!

In this product students will explore 6 different text structures.

Those six are:

Chronological

Process/Sequential

Compare/Contrast

Problem/Solution

Cause/Effect

Descriptive

For each, students are given a definition, signal words, and are tasked with creating their own example based on given criteria.

This ended up being a lot of fun for me and my students!

Google Drive version! :)
