A Good Start
Rated 3 out of 5

This is a good start, but by no means ready to go lessons. Well organized, great ideas, and looks engaging. However, implementing it yourself would take a lot of work and time. You would need to create all materials. This is simply two very long Google Docs - one with an outline of ideas/lesson plans and another with activity outlines one after another. You would also need to hunt around to figure out what the author was referring to if you were to follow it closely. I wish I had realized this before purchasing. The lesson plans lack detail. For example, it will reference a Code.org lesson without mentioning the course, unit, or lesson it came from. Or just simply name an activity with little detail, "Human Internet Activity. Students become 'routers' and 'servers' while passing paper." Sounds good, but there are no materials or instructions. If I could see inside the author's mind, get a list of references, or sit in on a class, it might make more sense. The "complete resource pack" is one long Google Doc. Everything would need to be separated and reformatted in new documents. Not to mention, it only includes student activity shells, no slides or presentations. It's clear the author knows their content, but they didn't provide enough context to share it effectively. Perhaps I missed the point of this resource. Sharing the review in case it helps someone else make an informed purchase.
