Description

Your students will practice and gain fluency graphing and determining the Characteristics of Exponential Functions with this engaging resource in both digital and print formats.

  • In the first part of the digital activity, students analyze 18 graphs, all transformations of a basic exponential function, and identify which transformations were used to graph the 18 functions. There are also two slides with notes, formulas, and rules of the properties of exponential functions for students to refer to.

  • In the second part of the activity students work on 8 different exponential functions. They create a table, find the domain, range, asymptote , x – intercepts, y-intercepts, and determine transformations for the eight different functions. After analyzing the characteristics and properties, students choose the correct graph from three choices and use drag and drop to place the asymptote in the proper position.

A printable version is included in the downloaded PDF.
