Description
This bundle contains 9 engaging, more than just a worksheet resources that I use to help my students learn about exponential properties. The different types of resources that are included in this bundle are
1) Differentiated Math Mazes
Students must solve problems correctly in order to draw arrows through the different leveled mazes to help them get from the start of a maze to the end.
2) Color by Number
Students will circle their answers to each of the twelve problems given. They then find the problem number on the coloring page and color each section with the appropriate color to make a beautiful design!
3) Error Analysis
Students utilize their critical thinking skills in order to find mistakes to problems that have already been solved. After finding a mistake students explain in words what the mistake was prior to solving it correctly.
4) Scavenger Hunt
After answering a question, students must walk around the room to find their answer. This allows students to know which hung on your wall classroom question to answer next. This engaging activity allows your students to get up and move around the room as opposed to just staying at their desks all class!
5) Task Cards
This set of task cards contain 24 problems along with a student recording sheet. These task cards make great bell ringers, exit tickets, or could be used as stations.
6) Math Puzzle
Students practice utilizing exponential properties by putting together a 4 x 4 math puzzle.
7) Math Murder Mystery
Students practice utilizing exponential properties by helping Detective Algebras solve a murder mystery! The more questions (clues) students answer, the closer students will be to discovering the murderer!
8) Exponent Rule Anchor Charts
Six total anchor charts that help students to learn different exponent rules. This resource is great for ELL and SPED students. Included are directions on how you can print these anchor charts BIG AND FOR FREE so that your students can see them no matter where they are sitting in your classroom.
9) Self Grading Google Form
10 multiple choice questions on simplifying algebraic expressions that contain exponents. This self grading google form is a perfect homework or formative assessment to give to students.
