Description
Writing algebraic expressions flash cards or task cards 6th grade. This is a great independent activity.
Included:
- 24 cards (you choose to make flash cards or task cards)
- response sheet for task cards
- Answer Key for task cards
Flash Cards:
Print the pages. Fold each page back, glue, and cut. Two cards per page. Each card has a question on the front and the answer on the back. Students will check themselves.
Task Cards:
Print the numbered question cards only. Cut out the cards. Print student response sheets for each student. Students will record their answers on the response sheets and use the answer key to check.
Other Possible Uses:
*Early finishers
*Centers or stations
*Exit slips
*Test review
Common Core :
--6.EE.A.2.a Write expressions that record operations with numbers and with letters standing for numbers. For example, express the calculation "Subtract y from 5" as 5 - y.
