Description
This is a course plan for grade 10 academic French Immersion (FIF2D). Depending on the level of the students (and where you're located), some activities could also be used for other grades, either higher or lower. Some parts are specific to the cultural part of the curriculum in grade 10, but could be modified, while others are not.
The course covers a few main topics:
- Novel study (Un Sac de Billes)
- Media unit (mostly about social media)
- TV series (we watch/study two TV series)
- Grammar (added in among other units)
It contains a mix of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities. (None of the resources for the activities are included but many have detailed descriptions). It is completely modifiable. It lists suggested amounts of time for each activity and is broken up into 75 minute periods.
Please note that I recently updated this to add a second similar plan as I taught the course again and added some extra content/made some revisions.
