FINDING PROFIT focuses on linear patterns as they represent real world situations about income, costs and profit from publishing a book. This is an extended problem solving activity for use in Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 or Algebra 2. I use this with students in small groups working collaboratively through the activity.
